Good morning all,
I recently moved into a home in Central Texas with a well and septic system.
The steel well head plate had a small blue plastic cap inserted in one of the screw holes that I assume is an access/vent hole to the well head.
The plastic cap has broken and I had the well company that did the well inspection do a repair and remove the plastic insert and try to install a 1/2" pvc pipe with cap.
The screw hole was to rusted for the threads of the 1/2" pvc pipe to thread in so he shaved off some of the threads on the pvc pipe and press fitted the pipe.
Is there any other type of replacement pipe that I can repair with? The pipe is not in tight and I want to prevent anything from entering the well head.
Thanks!
