Hello all, wanted to reach out to the forum for advice. We are installing a new water heater and have some flexibility in terms of placement and venting location. We have several options for the vent:

1) Front of house, green circle area (proximity to window, outside corner of house)

2) Front of house, red circle area (proximity to window, walkway, outside corner, side entrance door, side entrance stoop)

3) Rear of house (proximity to window, patio, furnace intake/exhaust, utility sink plumbing vent, dryer exhaust vent, inside corner)

Which do you think is best in terms of meeting code and being safe? We do occasionally hang out on the stoop and rear patio so not sure if exhaust near those locations is OK to be breathing in or if its a non concern. Also not sure of the code distance requirements for all the things I mentioned above (functioning windows/doors, inside/outside corner, other intakes/exhausts, etc).

Thank you kindly in advance.
