Trim t bolts

I know this topic has been beaten to death.

Just installed two new toilets. Everything knock on wood is good so far. I haven't trimmed the bolts yet for the cap.

I don't want to use the multi because I'm afraid of cracking it. Would I have the same risk with a Dremel?

Besides a hacksaw is there a smaller bolt cutter that can get it done on brass?
