Haven't been on the site in a good while, so I'm just finding out about this, and I can say it hits me hard to learn it. Terry has been so great to all of us over the years he will surely be missed. By virtue of being able to post these condolences, it seems you are keeping the site going and I think that's a great tribute to a great man, so thank you for that. Wish I could have attended the Celebration of Life.

Thank you for your condolences, keeping his forum thriving is the least we could do as a family to show our love for him. This truly was a his baby.

I'm so sorry to read about Terry's passing. I've visited here off and on since 2008, having benefited greatly from his shared experience and knowledge.

I'm a run of the mill homeowner and have been an infrequent user of the site over the past several years. Terry and his followers have bailed (pardon the pun) me out several times. I truly appreciate it, Terry, and the site. I'm so sorry that Terry has died. He did so much good. My condolences to his family. Keeping the site going is a great way to honor him and I appreciate that too!

My heartfelt condolences to the Love family. This forum and its members have been a tremendous blessing for me and my DIY projects over the years—all made possible through Terry Love and his dedication through this site.

I’ll offer a me,too for Tom’s post. having never met him I don’t know what he was like but his patience with everyone who visited his website as well as maintaining this service for the community of needy DIYers while running a small business sure leaves the impression of a very kind man! Best wishes to the family. And good luck with your plans for the business(& please provide any updates that you’d like to share.) Thank you,John
P.S. It’s crazy that we carry computers in our pockets that are telephones we can use almost anywhere, but picking a toilet in the 21st century is nearly impossible(just “nearly” because of this gift Terry left us, to read on our telephones!)

I just joined this site after coming here many times seeking (and finding) good, trustworthy advice. I am saddened to learn that Terry has passed and I wanted to offer my belated condolences. Having lost an adult daughter in 2017, I know that grief goes on long after the loss of a loved one. For me, I am always thinking of and missing my daughter Crystal. I treasure any opportunity I have to remember and speak about her. I hope you feel the same regarding Terry. It seems as if friends and family rarely, if ever, mention my daughter, as if they fear talking about her will remind me she is gone and cause me pain. I don't think they realize that I never forget she is gone and that remembering her and sharing memories is comforting for me. With that in mind, I am posting this to let you know that even though Terry passed 2 years before I found this site, I appreciate that you shared his passing and planned a Celebration of Life with this community. I also very much appreciate that the site is still functioning as a valuable resource for professionals and lay-people alike. Thank you so much for that. Lastly, (I'm having trouble wording this part - please forgive if it comes out wrong) - I hope that in some way it brings his loved ones comfort to know that what he started continues on even after he is no longer here - as a sort of lasting legacy that is still providing accurate, free information to all who need it. Wishing you peace.

I joined this site about a year ago and I got really good advice from members. I had no idea of Terry's passing at the time and I was trying to reach out.

Never met the man, but the fact that you all had the patience to help me, on a website Terry started, tells me he was a good egg and surrounded himself with equals.

1.) Condolences to the family (Andrea, Jamie,...)
2.) Thanks to the members that keep it going and having the same patience Terry did.

I just joined the site today and sorry to see that Mr. Love has passed. For someone to start this labor of love and help so many, is awe inspiring. It's nice to see that his baby (this forum) is being continued in his honor. Thank you Andrea for taking the wheel!

Oh boy. I am so sorry to hear this. I'm an infrequent visitor of this forum for 15 years, but because of this beautiful man, his forum was always there to lend a helping hand to me and countless others. To Terry's loved ones, I am so sorry this has crossed my eyes this afternoon. God Bless you and may He give you comfort during this time.
