I have a cabin in Minnesota that has a well that is shut off in October. I would like to have a tote tank or several 55 gallon drums that I could fill with water before my well is shut off. This would allow me to continue to use my Cabin with water until we have a deep freeze. How could I set up a pressure tank and pump by using a drum, tank, barrel, or other water reservoir instead of drilling a well?

It might be easier to install a pitless adapter on the well so you don't have to drain it in winter. But a little jet pump or submersible and a PK1A can deliver strong constant pressure to the cabin from whatever kind of storage/cistern tank you have.
