I completed construction of a new house in February. The shower my father uses has the shower valve and shower head on the right - so when he steps into the shower, he as to pivot to his right.
In hindsight, I should have installed the shower of the left wall of the shower. I plan to tee into the PVC hot and cold lines above the existing shower valve, and run new PEX pipe exposed on the shower ceiling, and then exposed down the left wall to a new shower valve.
Does anyone know of a thermostatic shower valve intended for surface mounting? (Not a "decorative" shower valve with the riser to the shower head exposed, but both supply pipes, and the riser exposed/surface mounted). It's not possible to run the new PEX above the shower ceiling or behind the left wall of the shower stall. Thanks.
