I completed construction of a new house in Februrary. The bathroom my 99-year-old father uses has a walk-in shower, with shower valve and shower head on the right.
In hindsight, it will be much easier for my father to step into the shower, and pivot to his left. So I want to add a shower valve and shower head on the left wall of the shower.
I can tee into the hot and cold PEX lines behind the right wall, and surface mount new PEX to the ceiling of the shower, and then run them down the left wall to a new shower valve.
Does anyone know of a surface mounted shower vavle? (Not a decorated shower with an exposed pipe running up to a shower head, but a thermostatic shower valve with hot and cold inlet, and the outlet for the shower head, all intended for surface mounted pipe). Thanks.
