Hi all,

This forum has been very very helpful for my DIY projects in the past and I'm back with a new task :)

Because of all nice reviews I bought a Rennai RL94EN tankless water heater for external mount. Manual advises to be 4' away from doors/windows by code, which I have, but no mention about distance code requirements to the meter/regulator assembly ( except 3' for Canada and California) and I'm in Texas, I can't find any local code for that - can you help?
Currently I can go 2' away from the assembly and I know installation has to be done by licensed company, I just want to do my research before jumping in?

Thank you in advance!
