Can you all please review my drawing below to make sure I have the wiring right before I go ahead and do the work. Specifically with the neutrals, so no parallel paths or other dangerious conditions.

I have to add the j-box in the attic because the current 2 separate 12/2 cables for the porch and eve running to the switch box are too short. Since I have decided to use a combo switch (instead of previous 2 separate switches), I'm going to use 1 piece of 12/3 (instead of 2 pieces of 12/2).

Dashed lines represent white wires. I think yellow dots represent splices. Splices are required to be in a box. Maybe your blue rectangles represent boxes. I expect green or bare ground wires present but not shown.

Looks good to me, but I could easily be missing something.

While you are planning, you could consider a dimmer for the foyer if that is a dimmable LED. Not all LED fixtures are dimmable.

I see there is also a dual dimmer that fits into one box, such as Skylark Dual Dimmer Switch.

Also, I expect 14 AWG would be easier to work with, if you can put that on a 15 amp circuit. You can do a lot of LED lighting with 15 amps.

Thanks Reach4.

Funny, there were dimmers on both the foyer and porch (who dims a porch light ???) but I removed them both, no need IMO.

I am leaving the dimmers on the ceiling can lights but replacing them with new Lutron Diva dimmer switches. I just got done replacing one of them and now the cans come on instantly, instead of the momentary delay when on the 13 y/o SkyLark dimmer switch.

The house has no 15 amp circuits - all lights & recpetacles are on 20 amp circurit breakers and using 12 AWG.

Only thing I see is that you have your switches marked incorrectly. Your porch switch goes to the Eve and vise versa but it should still work properly.

Also should be a splice wire nut for the neutral in the jbox but that is just a correction to the diagram; should still function correctly.

As long as your actual wiring matches your wiring diagram you posted it should be good-to-go.

Be sure to let us know how you make out with this.
