Hi Everyone

Hope all is well and appreciate all and any help!! Taking a wall out downstairs led to a large support beam right where plumbing for upstairs bathroom was. You can see new support beam in the old cut out for toilet rough in.

So needed to move to a rear discharge toilet. Have bought the Gerber Maxwell (hopefully that was a good choice!) and I just wanted to check in on the rough in. Hopefully I've done this ok. My main question is that I was really hoping to avoid having to build a pony wall but as you can see, I couldn't figure out how to avoid it (main wall is just 2x4). Was/is there another approach I could have taken?

Thanks!!

How much space is between the face of the beam and the original framing wall?

You can get pretty creative with a Duravit rear discharge toilet.

This gives you the ability to floor rough the toilet as close to the wall as you can get.
