question about Hot water heater recirculation system install

I need to install a Watts hot water heater recirculator. In my setup it looks like I have two choices.
  1. bend corrugated copper to attach to top of pump.
  2. remove corrugated copper and sweat on new fittings.
Do I need a tool to bend the copper? if so, will it fit over the fip end ? hot water.jpghotwater1.jpg
