ProPress on old copper

Saw the other thread on Propress and it reminded me, I've been wanting to add a softener and have access to a Propress tool. 1" line coming into the home pictured below, 1960's construction. I scraped the paint off and hit it real quick with some open mesh cloth.

Can I successfully Propress this? Clean it up until perfectly smooth?

We pro-press buried soft copper that doesn’t look anywhere as good as this with no issues. This will be perfectly fine to pro-press.
