I have a customer that has a Grohe shower system from about 20 years ago. It has multiple body sprayers and different accessories.

The main issue is the hand sprayer is leaking and I need to get to the cartridge. I'm not seeing any spots to get a flat head in to pop off a cover to expose a screw to detach the handle to get to the cartridge.

I also don't know what model this Grohe system is to get a replacement since I can't figure out how to get to the cartridge to identify it for a replacement.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The body unscrews from what? That diagram doesn't show a screw or a cap to remove to get to a screw.

Grohe...1st generation "Talia" is the style. here is a picture of your handle. The top of the handle has a cap that unscrews. once unscrewed you can access the screw that holds the handle adapter to the extension. the extension then leads deeper in the wall to the cartridge. Most volume controls used hot ceramic stems. What I cant tell you is if its a 1/2" stem or 3/4"...here is a picture of the 1/2" but you should remove first to verify.
good luck.
