I have a 1” water building supply. From the meter to the furthest fixture is 120’. 5’ elevation at 60 psi. I have 2 full bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, 2 hose bibs, and Water heater. From the code book it seems like I can run 3/4” to the house and 1/2” branches to fixtures. My questions do I first install a 1” ball valve>prv and then reduce to 3/4” or do I reduce to 3/4” after the water heater.
Or can I reduce from the building supply than go 3/4” ball valve 3/4” orb.

The system is

Water meter>front yard hose bib>laundry>water heater>kitchen>bathroom1>bathroom2>hosebib

Im not sizing it out but id run 1 inch past the prv to at least one or 2 tees beyond depending if the spriklers are comming off back side of house i might run the cold 1 inch even farther . 2 bath house I aint using 3/4 shut off or regulator. I know those houses up there are only like 75 k and you dont have budget LOL.
Seriously on a cheap house Ill take short cuts I would not take on a 2 million dollar home , and on a 5 million I might even run type K copper instead of L
