I just transitioned from copper to pex for washing machine lines. All my pex crimps look good except for 1. The crimp is good but the pipe is not completely butt up to the new washer valve, it's about a 16th of an inch off. Should I redo it? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

If the crimp is past the barb, no problem. If your pipe is only 1/16th back, then it is well past the sealing barb if the crimp ring is placed where it needs to be.

On the other hand, if it keeps you up at night, redo it..

I am not a pro. Do you have a de-crimping tool? If not, I would buy the shark-bite one. It makes these sort of fixes quick and economical.
