I have to replace a 35’ 1/2” copper hot water line that has developed pin-hole leaks. Was eager to use Pex-B until I started to read about thermal expansion. Reading that over 35’, I might get 6“-8” of expansion with a 60degree temperature rise. In a crawl space. The existing copper is suspended in metal strap along with cold water line.

Should I be concerned? Any suggestions on how to accommodate expansion?
