NPE-240A2(NG) Recirculating setup

I have the NPE-240A2(NG) wh installed and operational. I recently purchased the Navicirc valve. I just want some very simple / straightforward installation instructions.

I am placing the valve at my furthest fixture. That installation is very straightforward

It appears I need to add an expansion tank at my wh on the incoming cold water line. To complete the installation

1. How should dip switches be set ??
2. How should the pump switch be set ?
3. Do not connect any piping to external return fitting
4. What is recommended settings for the touch panel

1. No dip switches to set
2. Set the recirc valve to external (6 o'clock)
3. Nothing to connect to recirc port.
4. Recirculation settings: external, no external pump, your choice of intelligent, always on, or schedule.
