Hello. Apologies if this is a repeat question, but I did search to no avail.
I'm installing this tub in a downstairs washroom. It's a 2-piece tub/enclosure where the enclosure gets screwed into tub before moving it into its final resting place. Floor is level, but mortar reinforcement is needed since the tub only has the one leg + skirt/apron. The issue is that with the attached enclosure and the low ceiling, that there's no room to lift it above the eventual mortar piles.
Anyone see any issue with adding/securing 3 more wooden supports to the base and mimicking the one existing? The one existing is a 2x4 that's tapered about half an inch from one end to the other.
Closed-cell spray foam is the other option, but I think wooden supports would offer more guaranteed support.
Thanks! (yes, this is my first time doing this...haha)
