For shower remodel, Just received the new trim kit from home depot, Delta Modern Gold 1-Spray Raincan Wall Mount Fixed and Handheld Shower Head 1.75 GPM in Champagne Bronze.
The valve body that was included, multichoice universal , w/o integral stops
With a main valve, divertor valve and one shower head and a stand alone hand held, instructions say to cap off the right port on the valve. The handheld needs to be on the right side of the shower head however
1) The handheld bracket is a one-way mount and would be facing the wrong direction if mounted to the right side?
2) The port open to the right would require to re-route the plumbing lines back over to the right side(suppose I could if no reverse side option)
2) Is there a work around? Why would they design this w/o an option of which side you want to use??
3) Better to have integral stops?
4) Can the 1.75 GPM be a problem and it's better to go with a 2 or 2.5? (West central Florida)
5) Return and start over????
