I recently did a job useing manifolds like
that myself but did not take pics......


the manifolds I had did not have stops.....
but they work very well indeed.......


the only downside I see to them is long runs on the hot side going to the same bathroom group.....

its best to run only one hot line and then tee off in each bathroom for the hot water ... unless you want to wait
a long while and also the extra hot water expence...

but if it is not a long run, that manifold will work great

The vanguard manabloc I have has one 3/4" outlet on the opposite end of the hot/cold inlets, dunno about the copper ones.

Well If I wanted to go with copper, could I sweat two of the same diameter manifolds-say 1 1/2 inch in diameter, one with 3/4 inch terminals, and one with 1/2 inch terminals- would that work?

yes you can

you can sweat the thing together yourself but it does not
look quite as good as the manufactured one that you can buy...
also you cannot make it as compact ...the copper takes up more space...

and if you have a copper leak, then you got real problems

my copper froze up on this little project last winter...the wirsbo was fine
but I had to re-do all the brass valves, and a couple of other pipe breaks in the
manifold system.....It was easy to work with the wirsbo but not too much fun.


the customer found out that you cant leave the water on in the house witout heat...
