Hey everyone!
Starting the journey of building an ADU for my mother. Our current primary house is currently 10 feet below the grade of the main street. The primary residence has a sewage ejector pump with basin located out side the residence.

Question is:
Can I add a basin and ejector pump to the adu and have that connect up stream of my current basin by means of a combo wye and check valve? Or is this a no-no and I should connect separately into the sewer? The proposed site of the ADU is 6 feet below the level of the primary residence.

Thanks!
Cheers,
Tom

That is a bit of a tricky issue because in the unlikely event that both ejectors happen to pump simultaneously, it could cause an overload on the main 4" drain.
Your local authority is who to check with.
BTW, we ONLY recommend a duplex pump basin system. We like Liberty Pro most of all because their system comes prepiped , good prices and ready to place.
