Hello
I have a new construction project in which I'm trying to estimate the minimum floor height.
Basically, I want to keep the floor as close to the ground as I can an have the correct sewage flow.

Setup
Single story house on crawl space
Existing gravity septic has the 4" line, 18" below grade (measured to the top of pipe) as the tie in point.
Horizontal distance to the furthest fixture using only 90 deg bends is ~75ft
The floor joists (2x12) are 11.25" + 3/4" subfloor = 12"

My quick calculation puts me at 75ft x 1/4"/ft (slope) = 18.75" plus the floor joist and sub floor 18.75"+12"= 30.75" (Pipe to floor)
Using 1/8"/ft I could save another 9" but do realize I need a margin of safety.

I've called may plumbers in the area and it's hard to get a call back when you mention new construction.:(
Any input is welcome at this point
