Following online diagrams to plumb:
Washing machine + utility sink [2” branch]
Bathroom: toilet + sink + tub [3” branch]
Kitchen sink NO D/W (no pic, just vtr w/ 1 1/2” around the window) [2” branch]
(All the branches in my own pic will be redone) (All vtr branches will attach to the 3” main drain/vent w/ upside down sanitary tees in the attic before it leaves the roof) (IPC but really just need it to work efficiently)
Questions:
How do I connect each of these branches to the vertical main stack? I know to use sanitary because they go from horizontal to vertical & to do 1/4” drop per foot on the branches.
1. I would *like* to do a 3x3x3x2 sanitary tee with 2” side inlet accepting the kitchen sink and the 3” accepting the bathroom’s branch. Is this ok?
2. Where should I attach the 3x3x2 sanitary for the washing machine + utility sink? Above or below the bathroom sanitary tee on the main stack? In the side inlet instead of the kitchen sink (that’d be too much, right?)?
To complicate matters, I would really like to add a wye where the pink circle is on the bathroom plumbing pic, approx 7’ from the toilet and 8’ from the main stack. The side-lying wye would accept a 3” pipe with waste from an upstairs bathroom, configured exactly like the lower bath.
3. Is that ok?
Thank you for any help I can get!!
