Hello-

I'm planning to install a half bath in a small pool house, about 100 feet from my main house. The pool house, a converted shed, sits roughly 18 inches higher than my house's grade. I intend to connect the bathroom's waste to a pipe in the basement ceiling joist. Starting with a vertical rise from a macerator toilet, I plan a 4-foot diagonal slope followed by an underground 100-foot run with a minimum 1/4 inch drop per foot. At the house, I'll need to overcome an 18-inch rise to connect to the waste pipe. Will I require an additional pump for this vertical lift? I'm considering the Sanicompact but am open to other suggestions. Thank you!

If the specs on the Sanicompact say "9' up and/or 120' distance" determine if that tolerance is suitable for your hoped-for goal.
It is a robust, tiny pump...of course expect to be dealing with replacing. On their own data sheet it is wrong because it says vertical discharge "120 ft". so, take it all with humor. It is going to be pushing its limits. buy two.
