My well recently ran dry and I had to end up changing out a failed pump due to no water. Long story short. I replaced the pump and tank combo with the same model I already had. I checked the tank pressure and adjusted it prior to installing the unit and once the system was back online and water in the well I turned the system on. My question is, why do I now have almost 0 water pressure in the house? I have checked for leaks and none found. My pump builds pressure once it gets down to 30 psi and shuts off right at 50 psi like it should. It doesn't drop until I turn the water on in the house, but I just don't have the water pressure I did with the old unit before it burnt up. Is there anything I can do without causing harm or premature failure of my new setup that will increase the pressure in my house? Thanks in advance.

When you are having these low pressure events in the house, what does the pressure gauge say? If it says 30 or more, look for a clogged whole-house filter.

If not that, clean all of your aerators on your faucets.

You probably replaced a 40/60 switch with a 30/50. Happens all the time. Tighten the large adjustment screw 3 full turns to the right and it will go back to working at 40/60. But if you want really good pressure in the house, like not even needing soap in the shower, you will need constant pressure by adding a Cycle Stop Valve.
