Looking for remote shutoff advice

I just had some extensive remodeling done, plumbing all done by a pro, most of the carpentry and other work DIY. The plumber added shutoffs where the hot and cold lines enter my unit, to avoid having to shut off the whole multi-family home repeatedly during the remodel. There was no non-ridiculous way to have the shutoffs accessible on the bathroom side of the wall (they are now inside the tiled tub wall on that side), but I can easily open the wall on the other side (kitchen) and add an access door.

The only issue is that the kitchen is set up so that the area would technically "be accessible" as far as code goes, but actually getting to it would require me to move heavy freestanding cabinetry. I was looking into Moen Flo devices, so that it could be shut off if needed and would only have to be physically accessed in the event that the Flo device decided not to function. However, it looks like this product is designed for the building main, not the hot and cold shutoffs in the unit. It specifically says not to install on hot water service.

Is this because of the leak detection features? Would I be able to install it on the hot line anyway to just use as a shutoff without turning on the leak detection? Or is there a different simpler remote shutoff I should be looking at instead? (I will of course be having a plumber install whatever I choose, but am doing research at this point). Thank you!
