Kitchen sink, compact strainer base?

During our kitchen remodel, I'm looking to move to a trash bin underneath the sink. I have a double sink connected together to a trap. The side I am attempting to put the waste bin on does not have the disposal and I could shorten up the tailpiece by a few inches. This is the easy route and would allow me to put something under there. Of course, I want more and would need about 3" more space to fit something larger.

I thought this would be something easy to come by but apparently not, or I'm not looking in the right spot. Is there a compact or low profile sink strainer base? Is there something with a 90° already made into the assembly to be as compact as possible?

Offset kitchen drain intended for wheelchair clearance? https://www.zoro.com/elkay-3-12-dra...basket-and-offset-tailpiece-lkad35/i/G1108899

Shallow drain basket? https://www.oatey.com/products/dear...k-basket-strainer--884081196?upc=041193006110

How about a photo of what you have now. Include both side sides. I am thinking of an offset drain out of a shallow basket. A short straight discharge tube would feed into the side of a baffle tee. The drainage from the non-disposal bowl would come into the top of the baffle tee.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/1-1-2-i...-Garbage-Disposal-Connector-HDC9104/316408390 has a lot of the parts I am thinking.

Only picture I had right now, doesn't show everything, but this is the specific area I need to save the space on.

I would say the sink strainer basket I already have in there extends about 2-1/2" from the bottom of the sink. This is about what the sink strainer basket you sent at 2-3/4" length is. I don't think this would save me any space.

I could put a short elbow that would thread directly onto the strainer base, however this is one of those pieces I cannot seem to find. You showed the offset drain for the ADA clearance, but that 90 still takes up a good amount of room.

I think my next best option might be something like this:

However, this seems to have mixed reviews, and I don't really care for the plastic.

My target dimension on that tape measure in the picture is to be north of the 20.5" mark....

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-1...rain-Outlet-Waste-HDC9121AB/316415495#overlay has dimensions on some of the drawings.

https://www.oatey.com/products/oatey-112-plastic-tubular-outlet-waste--1798885573 says
Place nuts (C) and flanged washers (A) onto tailpieces (B). Thread nuts (C) onto basket strainers.
That tells me that one of the nuts included is intended to connect directly to a basket, without a tailpiece to add depth.

To transition then from horizontal into the vertical input on the baffle tee, it seems to me that https://www.homedepot.com/p/Oatey-1...ink-Drain-Outlet-Waste-Arm-HDC2690B/316622003 could be cut down to make the long part short.

If you are successful in your project, please post a photo.
