I searched here but didn't find much info. I need to place two 1" pvc lines under a sidewalk that's about 7' wide. Should be sandy material underneath. Have plenty of access from one side, with sidewalk built up 6" above the lawn so don't have to dig a huge hole in the ground to work. The other side of the sidewalk is up against the garage slab. Plan is to jet under the sidewalk to the garage slab, then break a small hole in the sidewalk and run lines up and through the garage wall.

Anyone have recommendations on a particular method to do this? Or a tool/attachment that works well? Not afraid of buying the correct tool if it makes life easier.

Thanks!

Thank you!

Actually that Sidewalk Sleever tool has me intrigued maybe more than jetting. They make an 8' tool. I wonder how easily I could hammer that under a sidewalk...
Sidewalk Sleever
SS tool is 1." 1" pvc 1.315" Sandy material would probably collapse pull it out.
2 - 10" pieces of pvc , 2 male adaptors x hose thread, 2 female hose adaptors, two couplings, the hose nozzle, cement and primer. After getting one through cut the fittings off cement them on the other pipe with couplings and food to go.

Guys I've seen do it use a 8-10 foot PVC pipe with a garden hose on one end. Flushes the dirt right out. These were in-ground sprinkler guys going under sidewalks.
