Is it possible to connect a washing machine to a Liberty pump?

I have a setup with a Liberty 404 pumping the water from a basement sink next to my laundry. The washing machine directly pumps into the sink itself. The issue is that this can get smelly and I was wondering if I could tie the laundry discharge directly to the Liberty pump? I would be putting in a trap between the washing machine and pump, as well as a check valve on the laundry discharge.

Included: Picture of the current setup and my proposed laundry coming in. I'm assuming using a double sanitary tee is the better method because the travel is horizontal? Would this setup work and not cause any issues?

currently you have 2 inlets to the pump basin one on top for the sink. whats the other one for? appears to not have fall?
Im not in favor of your tee as planed .
I think it probebly needs a vent not a AAV

https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.supplyhouse.com/product_files/Liberty-Pumps-404-Install-Instructions.pdf page 5 says "Do not use one-way quick-vents or air admittance valves". But oddly, the instructions say

Provision is made for a vent stack to allow extra volume for high
suds conditions, and to ensure proper drainage of the fixture. The
vent pipe should have a union to facilitate removal, if required,
and shall be connected directly to a building or house vent

That seems to say that a vent is optional, but a washing machine would be a high suds thing I think.

WM is not compatible with mini-pump basin like this. To use that pump with WM you must use a deep utility sink(aka laundry tray) to accommodate the potential capacity limitation of the pump and basin.

There is only one inlet from the sink. The other 2 are vent out and discharge.

So the issue is that the Liberty's basin is just too small for the WM? Would it be that bad if the WM discharge backed up a little bit into the sink until the pump could catch up?

Edit: In particular after reading in the manual "Provision is made for a vent stack to allow extra volume for high
suds conditions, and to ensure proper drainage of the fixture
." Seems like it's made for this type of scenario?
