Hey people, I have a stainless Pex manifold that is roughly 13 years old now and the entire house is hydronic floor heat. I have 2 questions that I need help on.
1-) do they valve ever need to be disassembled and cleaned even there is no leaks?? I noticed it was very hard to push in the little metal pintle on them , not sure if that is normal?

2-) what is the proper way to bleed each loop?? I just did an extension on my house and need to bleed the air out of the loop. I though to turn the thermostat on so the Mr Pex selinoid opens the valve, close feed and return, connect city water to feed and drain to return and push the air out. Am I wrong?? Deeply appreciated
