What would be the best way of plumbing a new 1 outlet tank to replace an existing 2 outlet tank while still utilizing the existing underground plumbing? Having the hardest time trying to figure out the necessary connectors to pull this off without digging everything up. Hoping you guys can help!

A bladder or diaphragm tank just tees off the side of the main line that is going to the pond and house. But the big problem with switching to a bladder style tank is the bleeder orifice you most likely have about 5' down the well. The bleeder is designed to let air into the old style tank. That air will blow glasses out of your hand at the sink if you replace that tank with a bladder style tank. You also may have an old air over water style tank for a reason. Many times the iron or sulfur smell will come out after someone makes the change to a bladder tank as the air is what gets out the sulfur and iron.
See this.
