Hello - we had a softener internally grenade & push resin throughout the house and I'm working thru fixing all the problems that caused.

Next on the list is this shower that's got low flow and no cold. Trying to open it up and flush then replace cartridge/diverter if necessary. I can't figure out how to remove this knob. No set screws or caps visible - and it doesn't seem to pull off straight with moderate force (enough to move the whole diverter).

Thoughts & advice greatly appreciated.
