In my tile shower I have a plate then in the center a temp dial an on/off. A lever out of the tile above that for the shower head. Then over on the wall there is an on/off for a shower wand. They are all dripping. I am sure they all need a new cartridge unfortunately the manufacturer Barrand or Barand has gone out of business aprox 10 years ago. So how much will it cost aprox for a plumber to come in and rip all that out and install new. I will provide the hardware. The plumber will just need to remove/replace the tile and R/R The new hardware I provide.
1. what is this shower plumbing assembly called?
2. what are some great companies to source this from ( that make the product..ie faucets
3. also had the house re-piped due to little pinhole leaks in the copper. I think they used PEX tubing. not sure how far they got up in the shower, is there concerns when soldering the new hardware in about heat damaging the PEX?
4. how long will it take?
