Hello,
I believe that rolling fittings for vent conne tions are only required for dry vents and that wet vents may connect horizontally to a horizonral soil pipe, saving a fitting and a bit of ceiling space. As far as my understanding of illinois plumbing code section 890.1450 b, discussing vertical rise. I could be wrong, hopefully not as I already started a project with this understanding but a lot of plumbers insist on rolling, which is fine to do, sure. But the whole point of a wet vent is that it is self cleaning so am not sure why a lot of plumbers insist to do so. It creates a lot of confusion as to what is and is not allowed as far as Im concerned.
