Hello, new to forum, came looking for help identifying what kind of pitless this is and how to remove it.

I’ve been searching through the forum and have not seen a single pitless or spool type adapter that looks like what’s in the photo. It’s my in-laws well, I jsut know it’s old (40-50 years).

I don’t see any female threads to screw into. Is it even a pitless or just some type of cover plate over the pitless? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Need a closer picture. But got to be a place to connect a pull pipe. Looks like maybe the center is just full of rust and dirt and you can't see the female threads.
