I have a GT15 thats pumping low pressure water...I noticed theres a leak coming from the motor shaft (probable the mechanical seal is compromised)...could this be the reason by there is low pressure coming out of the outlet...Or, the issue with the low pressure is associated with the impeller/guidevane...I see some scaring on the impeller shaft and guidevane when I opened up the pump...

A bad seal will cause a leak. A bad impeller eye, which is what that looks like, will cause loss of pressure. Sprinkler pumps like the Gator don't build much pressure, (not enough to work with a pressure switch). This causes them to get hot at low flow or when run close to shut off pressure.
