Garbage disposal replacement into horizontal double wye

I'm planning on replacing my garbage disposal and I'm currently stuck on how to plumb it. Is caping the right inlet of the double wye and running the outlet of the disposal into a tee on the left the best option?

Holy Cow that is a crazy use of a p-trap on its side like that....
see picture below...I would try something like this ....maybe some of the other guys on this forum have a different solution.
