Hello, Ran into issue to center our freestanding tub on the window because joists run perpendicular to the window and one is aligned with the center of the window.
Do above the floor drain allows to have the drain not centered , but the actual tub centered? Here is the tub and the drain that comes with it ….
Are there any other drain options that would allow to install a tub with center drain but the actual drain is offset without building a pedestal or reinforcing joist and cutting into it (the quote for it is very expensive). Contractor is pushing for joist remodeling and I’d like to know if it’s worth to push to talk directly to the plumber….
