I will be installing a kohler free standing tub with a deck mount tub filler. This tub has an outer shell that the inner tub drops into after you make the plumbing connections so I will need to use a flexible supply line. Are there high flow supply lines for this application? I am concerned that a regular faucet supply will be too restrictive. I have 1/2” copper ball valves stubbed through the floor. Someone suggested wash machine supply hose, but don’t know if that is correct for this application.

You will have two 1/2 inch MNPT connections to connect to?

How long do you envision?

I would estimate 24-30 inches long, but there is room to coil up extra if needed.
I believe the what I have to connect to is fnpt

I tried to attach pics of what I have , but says file is too big. Coming through the floor is 1/2” copper with a brass ball valve with a female end. The Kohler tub filler will just be a female fitting made to accept copper pipe. So I can pretty much adapt to any type of supply line.

Other than one off hoses that come with fixtures I'm not sure that any large inner diameter supply hoses exist. They are pretty much all 1/4" ID.

Using a washing machine hose would not be good or advisable. As long as the hoses you choose are as short as possible they should be ok.

I can't see what your working with but could you make pex "hoses" and basically bow them slightly? Sometimes depending on clearences people will loop pex inside of a wall so the loop can be pulled on and worked on, then put back.
