The injector assembly in particular. On top of the valve you will see a stainless plate held on by two screws. Depressurize the unit and remove those two screws... you will see the injection system comes off fairly easily. The valve should also be removed. A simple acid ie"citric" is ideal for cleaning as it is fairly safe to work with and poses very little health risk if consumed, and since it will be used on a potable water device...

That will save some salt, but it will not help your other symptoms.

Super Iron Out is good for cleaning out iron, but it has a smell. I was disappointed to see you only have had the iron system for 2 months.

AIO systems are very hit and miss. Sometimes air is simply not enough and the AIO design itself is fairly troublesome in many applications. Sometimes it works perfectly. We sell a lot of them but I prefer different designs. They are one of the lower cost options...

I had considered a green sand system, as we had one installed when the house was built. The KMnO4 was a little messy. Through the next three wells later we tried to handle the iron with the softener, but on the fourth well we encountered the H2S. I guess chlorination could be an option and the AIO would capture the chlorine before it hot to the softener. I want to stay away from open air aeration, as I would have to add another pump. Green sand would probably be my first choice if the AIO isn't working. Are there any better forms of carbon that might work better in the AIO? Also have heard of products called Katalox and CQ-PY.

What other systems are available? I know that they use open air aeration systems around Lake Okeechobee about 30 miles from here.

I am going to check the injector for fouling this weekend.

Although not carbon, the iron, manganese and sulfur reduction media of choice is now Katalox Light. Often, KL media is effective on its own without an oxidant but there are many variances with water conditions, an oxidant such as hydrogen peroxide, chlorine or pot perm is often used in conjunction. I understand KL maybe used in an AIO system.

Correct. KL works great but AIO in general is not to great. If air is going to be used, I prefer a separate tank for air with a simple air injection/air bleed system and a backwashing KL system. A few companies make very bad versions of this design, seems everybody wants to be the cheapest. Our version is a few dollars more but is done correctly. We also do the AIO but... this is simply not a great design for a multitude of reasons. You can modify your AIO system easily though. I sent you a PM, the conversion is a little more involved that what is probably needed in this forum. A little too wonky.
