Hi - I am not sure if this is an electrical issue or a faulty sewage ejector pump.

Issue I’m seeing:

The ejector pump is tripping the GFCI outlet it’s plugged into. When I plug the pump to a non-GFCI in the house with an extension cord, it does not trip, and the ejector pump works and gets the sewage out. I’ve tried plugging it into different GFCI outlets and it trips.

I had a plumber replace the sewage ejector pump 3 years ago and I’ve been in this house for 8 years.

I wanted to get some advice on whether it’s the pump or something electrical.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
