Drain pipe setup advice

Hope yall are doing well, I have a quick question about connecting a drain hose from a small nail spa tub to the one of the pipes in the photo. I'm trying to figure out if I need to remove the endcap or remove the cap with the square end on it. Then how would I remove either of them to to connect the drain hose too.
