Hello everyone! I am hoping that I could get some advice on the following: I live on the first floor in a condo complex where pipes are exposed outside, in the open garage below. When bathtub is used, there is water sipping onto the corresponding tub drain pipe outside, through the concrete ceiling in the garage. I replaced the tub drain assembly, but that didn't fix it. Access to bathtub drain pipes on the first floor seems impossible without removing the tub or the siding on the hallway wall outside the unit. Does anyone have any idea how to get access to those pipes for inspection/repair, or what other testing would be relevant?
Not fully familiar with the tub drain systems but searching online I found diagrams showing that there is a tee pipe between the shoe and the tailpiece pipe. Since replacing the drain assembly didn't fix this, lose fittings between these pipes could be the cause? I am wondering if this would be something I could fix before contacting the association to have their plumbing crew look at it. (Hoping they are familiar with the pipes layout)
Thank you in advance!
