Hello, my city water is about 40gpg with 2ppm iron pfas etc. I have a clack ws1 valve on a 10x30 resin tank filled with 1cuft of sst-60. I’m wondering how do I get my water actually “soft” or soapy..?.. I get break through fast after a shower or so. My raw water tests max out with color gpg wise so I don’t know yet after softener it’s always 0gpg yet rocky water. Feels bad. My ws1 settings are 1st backwash 10 min, 75min brine, 6 min second backwash, 15min rinse, 9lb fill, 28k capacity, regen every 3 days. All parts in valve are replaced when I replaced resin about 3 months ago. I have just water softener no inline filters as they’ll clog weekly…. Figure more often regens will help. When I use a TdS meter for my water is get 880ppm so I’m working with some minerals here. Should I up my dose to 12-15lbs per regen? I have a 18x30 brine tank so I have room for water if I need to pull more brine. Am I running not enough salt per regen or are my settings off… any help is beyond appreciated.

TIA
