We recently purchased a unused Marlo CMP-45K floor model softener from a local appliance store that delivers but doesn't install. No problem I'll try it. It is a Clack power head and says Clack on the brine tank placard, dated 2020, which brings us to my first question...
1. Is the resin okay? The company confirmed 8% crosslink resin is used, but I am confused if there is anything I should do before I put it in service, or if It's even good yet?
2. Does changing the salt lbs per regeneration to increase efficiency (8 lbs/regen) automatically change the exchange capacity (29,028)? Or vice versa? Or both?
