AS PROMISED... here is a field test update of a cheapo $150 ebay pump.
Installed somewhere before thanksgiving day 2020 I don't remember the exact day but I know it was after Halloween but before Thanksgiving. I bought it on ebay. 3/4 horse 230v 3wire pump. Might as well be a 2 wire pump if we forget about the ground wire.
To date, zero issues, tank refill time is unchanged. House has 1 bathroom, 1 male and 2 female occupants.
Why do I mention the gender? Ok... and old design survey sheet i was told about by a pump old timer asked about how many male and how many female occupants, dont know if thats relevant but whatever maybe he knows something I don't.
still waiting for my $150 investment to break, so far it keeps going.
