Can anyone recommend a good utility / laundry sink faucet that is:

- Deck mounted - single or triple hole
- Good build quality and reputable company like Moen or Delta for easy to service and parts availability.
- Can be turned on with messy hands (below style or the wing style handles)
- Has some rise to it - maybe 4-8" above the top of the sink
- Faucet can be swiveled out of the way, for instance, to get a bucket in the smaller laundry sink
- High flow (like 4gpm+), to be able to fill the sink or a bucket quickly.
- Nice to have: a sprayer available

Ideally around $250 or less, actual cost (open to older or used units)

I did see this moen option... not entirely impressed with it, but it does flow 4.0 gpm in a pull down? No sprayer, though do like the hose threads.

Perhaps a normal faucet can have a flow restrictor removed?

Thanks!

That is a huge limitation with modern faucets. All the tree huggers saving water. Need to toss the aerator in the trash if you want that kind of gundy. And those tiny supply hoses choke the water down too.

Here in the west, water resources are scarce - it's the real deal as is conservation, else we'll be screwed when drought hits. So, I fully support that. However, do need a sink that can fill a bucket quickly. From what I can tell, Laundry Trays and Service Sinks are excluded from watersense; however, I'm not sure that changes many mfg's aren't making them flow higher.

So, by removing the aerator, most faucets will flow higher rates (to the limit of any skinny hoses in it's design)? I don't really need pull down, though a separate sprayer would be nice.

I’ve been looking into different parts of Athens for my next move, and the southern neighborhoods are really catching my eye. In particular, apartments for rent in Athens-South seem to offer a great combination of lively streets, local markets, and quieter residential corners. I like the idea of being close to cafes and the coastline without paying a fortune. Has anyone here rented in this area before? Any recommendations for trustworthy landlords or lesser-known spots that are worth checking out?
For your requirements, the Moen 4736 Arbor 4 GPM Deck Mounted Single Handle Utility Faucet is a solid choice. It has a high flow rate, a swivel spout, a single handle that’s easy to operate with messy hands, and comes from a reputable brand with good parts availability. It doesn’t include a sprayer, but the threaded spout allows adding one if needed. Another option is looking at older or used Moen or Delta utility faucets, as many have removable flow restrictors to increase flow. This model should fit under $250 and meets most of your criteria.
