So to start off, I have ecoli, have for 20 years. There is an unabandoned well onsite, no idea where. I have had a chlorine injection system for 20 years. works good. I've got a stenner pump, 85mhp17, set at 1 on the dial. I have a 15 gallon brine tank with 1 to 4 gallon household bleach. A 120 gallon contact tank, and a 10x54 backwash with mechanical timer. Also a hellenbrand softener.

I need to rebed my backwash tank, my water business is ghosting me and another local one wont even take new customers. I'm handy enough I'll just do it. The tank is 10x54, 16.4 gal cap, 2.2 cu/ft. I believe I need catylic coconut carbon and gravel. Is there a particular gravel? Links to a reputable business would be much appreciated.

(family of 5)

Thanks

Gravel is standard like might be used with a softener, even tho GAC is heavier than softener resin. 15 lb for 10 inch tank.

The resin could need replacing also if there has been much residual chlorine making it thru the GAC.
