Greetings all, I am looking to replace my whole house backwashing filter media (specifically to Katalox Light from the general activated carbon) to aide in sulfur smell/taste removal. I understand that I will need a backwash flow rate of about 7gpm. I'm not sure what my current system does (pro aqua pro well 1e). Can I just measure how long it takes to fill a gallon jug during the backwash cycle and times that by 7 to see if it is under 60 seconds? Please forgive my ignorance.
