10" deep undermount sink with dishwasher tailpiece and a shallow strainer. The dishwasher inlet is slightly higher than the drain outlet. Assuming I can get the required slope after fitting the trap, will this work? And work effectively?

Dishwasher drain hose will have high loop to top of cabinet.

There are plastic tailpieces that have a higher branch. We always lower the sink tee prior to setting cab. much harder work now, is to cut open the wall lower and add a cleanout and patch back.

The angle the picture is taken from doesn't look like the full diameter of your drain is low enough to attach a trap level even, let alone some slope. You should use plastic anyway as it doesn't rot like a brass drain will.

Thank you both for your input, I appreciate the advice. Here is the end product, it drains well (and fast), and the dishwasher works well.
